Helping America's Most Vulnerable
The VOA/Bill Daniels Veteran Services Center is a “one-stop” location for veterans experiencing homelessness to easily access multiple services. The main program is the Supportive Services for Veteran Families programs that assists veterans in attaining stable housing, but we also have multiple state, federal, county and non-profit partners in the building.
The partners provide services for veterans, and we support their work by providing an inexpensive, “shared space” work environment as well as the rooms for meetings and events. Some of our non-profit partners include Team Rubicon, The Mission Continues, Soldiers’ Angels, DU Law School’s Veteran Advocacy Project and Project Sanctuary.
We also have representatives from the VA programs for the homeless, Denver Human Services, Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and vet benefit reps as well. In addition, we also host a variety of community events that benefit the veteran population.
